Namana is more than just a brand, it’s a celebration of friendship, creativity, and collaboration.

Our name comes from the Malagasy language, where it means “friend.” This embodies the spirit of our project, which is based on the idea that great things can happen when people come together and share their skills, knowledge, and ideas.
 

Our artisans in Madagascar have a deep-rooted tradition of working with raffia. They've handed down their know-how in choosing the best raffia leaves, preparing the fibers, dyeing, and weaving techniques from one generation to the next.
